Just looked at their schedule and for their last 5 games, they have the Spurs twice, Grizzlies twice and Timberwolves once. They actually have 1 additional game against the Spurs as well(so 3 total left), and they have the Jazz and Thunder 2 more times each as well. Clippers and Celtics once each too, definitely some tough games in there.

retired players have been bashing the warriors.....saying that curry's success is largely due to today's style of play, which isn't as physical as back in the day

players like oscar robertson, kareem abdul-jabbar and stephen jackson have all been in on this

    stephen curry said its annoying

It is annoying when old players and fans do that. It's a different game now vs back then. This is the way the game is now and Curry is doing some amazing s---. Whose to say that some of the past greats would be successful today.

    Older players have a point.

Players like Bird, Magic, MJ, etc had to deal with players like Laimbeer, who would take your head off if you drove in the paint, and it wouldn't even be a technical foul lol.

People act like Curry's being left wide open or something lol, he's taking near impossible shots (especially in the clutch) and consistently knocking them down. All he needs is a tiny bit of open space and he sometimes doesn't even need that, his range is ridiculous and his ability to hit 3's at a tough angle or without much room is crazy too.

If anything I reckon it would be more difficult achieving these records in today's age than back then.

The NBA has been continuously growing in popularity since the 80s. Which means the talent grows and the competitiveness of the league increases. Sport technology is always improving and so is the professionalism in the players. You see it in multiple sports. IMO the standard of an athlete today is higher than it was before.

Although you can say it's a lot softer now, refs aren't as lenient and players tend to milk fouls. But do you see that in Curry's game?

Well d--- if they win Wednesday then I was only 1 game off on the prediction I made back in December.

Amazing season whether they win or lose on Wednesday obviously, but I expect them to finish the job. Curry was ridiculous in the 2nd half of the last game, took over with crazy shots, great defense and great set ups.

You think they're gonna blow the last game? Seems hard to believe, they'll be fired up for it and that's made a difference for them this year.

I could see them blowing it on Wednesday against the Grizzlies. They were lucky to beat them the other day..

Steph woulda torched those old dudes in any era with a 3 point line. Never been a shooter like him, not like he relies on going to the hoop to score. Comparison makes no sense for Steph, LeBron probably woulda already completely broken down by now if he played in the 80's/90's
