Mar 2, 2015It's so messed up.
The dude wants recognition but he will never get it cause he can't say "all day n-----, all day n----- all day n-----, spent all day n----- at the mall n----- all day n----- how much i ball n----- all day n-----"
How the f--- is that fair?
I give the dude credit now for what he has been releasing. Where else can he possibly go?
He's not black.
If he replaced the words n----- with boy, and released this same exact song you guys would laugh at it and call it s---.
Section80.
Eminem Best Posts: I feel bad for Eminem. He can't make a song like "All Day" or you guys would explode.

It's really no different than the praise Drake gets. You guys love the dude for being soft but if Eminem sings he's a fall off and pop singer.VMO2, shadyslim555, Elkei and 5 others like this. -

Yeezus is flawless???? I'm out hahaha. I'll give you the artistic argument but if you think kanye west or drake are in the same galaxy as em as far as being a good rapper you're f---ing stupid. Its not even opinion at that point you're just f---ing dumb. Kanye is soooooo f---ing bad compared to pre 808s kanye, and even pre 808s kanye couldn't touch 99-05 Eminem on a mic. f--- if you wanna hear who's better listen to the three biggest names in the game get buttfucked on forever by who? Its gotta be (at least in my eyes) that em is literally probably the best rapper ever, peak to peak (or in his prime) so people expect more than singing. Whereas drake or kanye were never really on ems level when it comes to rapping anyway. What bothers me is when people say that new rappers who put out music a f---ing monkey could write get praised or labeled as all time great rappers (much like drake). Sure they're sonically awesome but learn what rap is cause whatever the f--- they're doing these days isn't rap its just watered down and sadFake Justin Mohrle, Amazed, Alpha and 2 others like this. -

These are completely different artists with different styles and sounds.
To compare Ye and Drake to Eminem on the mic (wordplay/flow/scheme/etc) is f---ing stupid.
Im not arguing whos a better artist, im simply saying they dont rap better than eminem.
Songs are personal preference and no one can honestly say one song is better than the other because its opinion but when talking about lyricist, theres no preference, its simply fact. Theres no way around that argumentchip100, get_em_boy, Suburban Scum and 1 other person like this. -

Dont get me wrong Kanye and Drake are putting out good music that i enjoy listening to, probably better than any eminem right now but stop calling Ye and drake great lyricist and geniuses and making them seem better than they are. Drake is good at mixing R&B with rap and current Kanye is great on the production side with decent lyrics, thats it. Everyone flips the f--- out when they release something new.
Stop making everything seem better than what it is.
Most f----- up part is everyone is flipping out over All Day and people ignore when Kendricks puts out songs like "The Blacker the Berry" and "i" which have message.
People pay attention for a day or two then forget. Everyone got it all wrongAlpha, shadyslim555, Elkei and 1 other person like this. -

I would say sectioneighty.com is mostly composed of fans of Rap music that enjoy multiple rappers but typically stan for Eminem, Kendrick, Kanye or Drake. The problem is when one (any) of these artists release new music, the four horseman stans unite together and enjoy the new stuff because new music is always great at first.
I rarely see negative opinions on brand new music as soon as it comes out, regardless of the artist. Everyone enjoys it until replay value fades then they return to worship their chosen artist. Part of this behavior sadly, is that right now it is Drake/Kanye Season (Kendrick SOON) so they are the flavor of the month. Most members here bandwagon (for lack of better word) on whichever artist has new stuff.
The thing is, the most vocal members here are also the most frequent visitors of the site. So you are more likely to see their posts always saying positive things in every single thread and you get the impression that d-ck riding is taking place by whole site, when really its just the same vocal members.
Now the problem with Eminem getting so much hate here lately is that everyone hates Eminem and everyone sees that.
This wouldn't be a problem normally, but the Eminem stans that defend him say some really stupid s--- and it makes you guys look bad.
Honestly, you guys do look really bad sometimes and because it's so bad, no one wants to be thought of as a part of "that group".
They know deep down, Eminem is their soulmate but because it's gay to like Eminem, they put on a mask.

First off, what hypocrisy? Don't just say things. Give examples. This applies to ANYTHING in life.
Secondly, from a content POV this ENTIRE song is supposed to be simplistic/straightforward. It's supposed to be to stunt...the forrest gump line, all state, etc are all supposed to be funny. and they are.
then there are lines like "light skinned slave" which are actually brilliant from a social POV.
Also how is he overrated as an "MC/Rapper" when literally no Kanye fan every brings up his rapping as his best aspect. This is an argument Kanye critics like to bring up themselves and act like it's actually a big deal, when in reality its a non starter. Literally EVERY Kanye fan will agree with you about Kanye's skills a rapper (he's great, not incredible or anything though). You can't actually point out anyone overrating his rapping, can you?
LMFAO so you're gonna dismiss ALL of 808s & Heartbreak, and then shrug aside any criticisms for something as awful as Stronger Than I Was?
You're ridiculous.
When has Em tried to make a song about "flossing," actually done it well, and still been "slaughtered?" GIVE EXAMPLES. I'll wait.
The new day/n----s in paris vs smack that/no apologies comparison is f---ing stupid. People aren't ignoring Eminem's "diversity" they're focusing on the fact that smack that is pretty god d--- average. People praise Kanye in the same breath because BOTH new day/n----s in paris are great.
How do you not get that?
Oh and feel free to show me any Eminem song that's as involved sonically as All Day. Like I said, give examples. Actually make your case instead of speaking in generalities.
And you're obviously confused as f--- if you like All Day but don't like the s--- it's clearly building off of from Yeezus like Black skinhead, on site, new slaves.

Dude if Drake released All Day it would get the same exact praise it's getting now.
Eminem is literally the only artist that people would laugh at the song.
It's just a strange double standard thing that Eminems music has to deal with.
It's funny cause if you give Kanye or Drake or even Kendrick some Eminem lyrics, you guys would call it a GOAT song. Your reactions would be hilarious because you would all be saying s--- like "wowzers he's so good he's breaking boundaries omg raps!!"
I guarantee you if Kanye released an Eminem song you n----s would all crawl within your own assholes and implode.soul intent, Section80 and CSW like this. -

The argument's useless because it's a what if question that would never be a reality for Em & Kanye. Jay-Z on the other hand....
& I do know one song that might work though for you guys to debate on with Em and Ye... in the future. Kim

Well here's your problem. A LOT of people that became fans of Eminem 2002-before have a certain level of quality they expect from him. Encore happened and people were disappointed but didn't believe he'd do it ever again. Re-Up happened and some people gave a f--- but it didn't save Shady 1.0 & didn't impress Em fans (besides No Apologies). Then Relapse happened, with the return of the joking around Eminem that everybody thought he would stop doing. Besides some songs, Em's original fan base still didn't leave & Relapse 2 was hyped to be a non-accent, more focused Dre produced GOAT album. But then Recovery happened and everybody chose sides because fans were constantly circle jerked and had enough.
With Kanye, he never switched up his music so much nobody could recognize it as consistently good music until 808s (for some) happened. then he pulled everybody back with MBDTF. Yeezus made Kanye fans a bit divided but the music dropping now is what's bringing him back.
Their rap content is completely different, their messages are completely different in most cases, so I don't quite get the OP saying "Em couldn't make an All Day kind of song because he'd get sh---ed on." That's not Eminem's element in rap. That's like arguing that Kanye would get sh---ed on for making Berzerk, it's not his type of hip hop so he'd never make it to begin with. But if either did they'd be sent to hip hop h---Old Account, Mr M and Young Sinatra like this.
