Jun 18, 2016 I've been trying to record songs in Audacity for a while. The problem is, when I add the beat to Audacity then record my vocals, it comes out very badly and you can barely hear or understand what I'm saying. This didn't happen on my previous laptop at all. Basically, how do I get Audacity NOT to record my computer's music? This is my main issue here. I don't know how to get it not to record music on my laptop.
Jun 18, 2016 I don't really have a headset but In do have a earphones with a built in microphone. I'm not totally sure if that's the same thing or not though.
Jun 18, 2016 Well... Headphones and headsets are different and if you're looking to record something that's halfway decent, you need a seperate microphone and seperate headphones because a headset is going to provide you with s--- quality. Trust me, I used Audacity to sound like a muslim kid back when I was 13 so I have some idea on how to use it even though Audition is 1000x better.
Jun 18, 2016 Thanks for telling me the difference of those two. I always thought that they were the same thing. What is this Audition thing though? I've never heard of it...
Jun 18, 2016 Adobe Audition; it's one of the most popular audio editors out there and it has a lot more functionality and features than Audacity; but that's likely because it's a paid product compared to open source freeware.
Jun 18, 2016 Pirating stuff that isn't music has always been hit or miss for me. Either I easily find it, or it seems impossible to find. I'll check online and see if I can find a good dl for Audition.
