This album more than any of his others is a sum of its parts. The sum is obviously what I was referring to as a "painting." it seems like he's giving different iterations of the same painting each w its own merits and flaws

It's not a conspiracy theory lol it's literally a recounting of what's been happening

I think that the album is definitely like a picasso painting because it seems like a moral of a bunch of parts.

This album didn't have a lot of cohesion neither does a picasso painting

While I want this rollout to be over with, it is extremely fascinating as a mainstream artist hasn't released/hyped up an album like this.

The closest I can think of would be Death Grips when they were about to drop Jenny Death. There was so much hype for that album with fans coming up with theories, discovering new clues, and the band giving us just enough information to have fun playing around with.

The problem with TLOP's cycle is that Kanye is telling us way too much. It's interesting to see an artist giving us a live insight to an album being made, but just because its interesting doesn't mean its good. I'm all for new and unique ways to promote music, but this is just another failed experiment, which I don't even know if Kanye was purposefully trying to do that.

This is kinda my problem with it, i think this is it and it's all we're getting. I honestly don't think anymore will come of this, but i could be wrong. I also get the feeling you're hyped over the 40 kendrick/kanye/thug songs, which i also don't think we'll be getting ( i could be wrong about that too though)

I'm not even sure if he'll drop any of those 80 tbh. I think there'd be great songs in that and would like to hear them, but doubt they'll drop. (just thinking, i know vaguely Thug is having difficulties with his label and SS3's release and there's the whole dre, beats1, apple, itunes, aftermath thing and like any 1 of those factors could potential halt, or stop the release of those songs.)
i'm hoping we get a TLOP 2.0 or something of the sorts, but at this point in time I just don't think it's likely we'll get anything that has major differences to what we already have.
