Dec 21, 2018 This album has been on repeat for the last week or 2, or since whenever it came out. I gotta say, I LOVE this album! I much better body of work than I am the West, that's for sure. Pretty much my only gripe is the fact that you can tell his age is affecting his lyrics now. Who else could mention salt intake/diabetes/alcohol consumption in at least 3 different songs?? And one of those songs, that being the main theme of the song. Other than that though, this album is hugely on point. Cube has always been political, I like that about him. And the Arrest the President beat goes HARD. I'm still gutted there is no WC feature and there's no throwaways from the Dre/Cube/Game sessions for Compton but it doesn't matter, that was just a personal want.
Dec 21, 2018 That "Arrest The President" beat, especially thatbhook part is insane. "Don't Bring Me No Bag" been on repeat since the album dropped, such a good song. The Real question is... Is this the grand finale for Cube?
Dec 21, 2018 I doubt it. He obviously still needs to be getting paid and he doesn't seem to be having much luck with movies recently. This could actually be a bit of another run for him musically. I hope so anyway!
