Drake If Drake doesn't evolve

    I think this is a crossroads for Drake. If he doesn't evolve, or get beyond where he's at I can't justify staning the dude. Views is good and I do enjoy it but I have to be objective here, he can't be repetitive and if he is we gotta call him out on it.

    That being said, what direction do you want him to go? For me, he should have a ratio of like 70 percent R&B, 20 percent dancehall and 10% rap. But it has to be inspired. That's really it, he shouldn't sound bored. His next album has to matter. Views is good but it isn't as captivating as Take Care or IYRTITL.

    IYRT was a step in the right direction imo. He sounded confident.
    On Views, he sounds insecure again on most of the tracks imo.

    He changed it up with views, but his general core style is still intact. He's a highly versatile artist, but I find that sometimes he reuses a lot of elements in his music, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just think that it might give some people the impression that he's getting mediocre.

    I personally loved the new album, but I understand why people think it's boring. It grew on me exponentially.

    I'm really feeling views tbh... but I don't think drake is gonna change his style... he has way too many close minded stans who would rather listen to generic music as long as it bumps in the car. Drake could drop objectively good music tomorrow but his fans would hate on it because it isn't what they want to hear.

    If he really wants to be a mainstream star, its better for him to stay in this lane and perfect his sound.

    Like I said though, I'm not a drake fan but I kinda like views...but then again I had no expectations.
