Jan 10, 2016 No, I don't have to defend it or explain why section 80 could be better because like I said, it's my least favorite kendrick project. I just quoted his post in which he was implying that some fake n----s were trying to s--- on gkmc on purpose in order to raise the level of praise of his first album. I just told him that many rap fans have always been supporting section 80 more than gkmc, and some publications are still referring section 80 as the underground fans' favorite kendrick project. I don't like it as much as tpab & gkmc but it is what it is, people praising section80 as his best album is nothing new and it's ok because they have great arguments to back their opinions up. And I agree with you about the fact that many people could make great arguments for an album not being aoty, but don't forget that you can find as many people, if not more who can make great arguments as to why an album is aoty. There isn't a single critic-proof album and me not liking section 80 as much as his other projects doesn't mean I have to put the community of people who support this album on ignore. They do exist and just like you and me, they can make great arguments as to why section80 is kendrick's best project.

Jan 10, 2016 Agreed with thread title. I'm gonna try not to compare this album with any of his old work though. I'd rather let it's be its own entity, but I get it, if this album is even close to as good as MBDTF it easily qualifies Kanye as the GOAT. He'll have gone an entire career with not a single album below 8/10.
Jan 10, 2016 If this turns too be as good as or nearby MBDTF then it would hard to argue Kanye as the greatest hip hop artist of all time but he can't be the greatest MC or the greatest rapper. His discography is already among the strongest but Yeezus spoils it for me. I know people like it but it's still I can't sit through it and I like just a few songs from 808's apart from that Graduation has a few weak songs. Rest all has been good and great mostly
