Jul 10, 2015 Tyler the Creator. Maybe not musically but you can definitely hear it in his attitude. Not giving a f---, saying what's on his mind. Tyler always been a big Em fan
Jul 10, 2015 Lets be realistic, No black rapper is gonna really be influenced by eminem. not many good white rappers since Em
Jul 10, 2015 He was shot in 2000. He wasn't signed to shady for 2 more years. His buzz was crazy before he signed. Labels had a bidding war trying to sign him
Jul 10, 2015 Idk what the exact number is but at the time he only had two offers. One for 1.3 million from Universal and another from Shady. I never heard him mention any other offers
Jul 10, 2015 B.O.B @ 2:50 J. Cole @ 10:02, 10:23 Talks "BITING EMINEM" Kendrick "NO BODY IS MATCHING EMINEM".
Jul 10, 2015 His buzz was crazy. He also had his beef with Ja Rule and Murder Inc after his shooting which was very serious. Labels wanted no part of that. From what i know, and i could be wrong, the bidding war was between Shady and Universal, thats it.
Jul 10, 2015 In my opinion, I don't think it's a matter of who would be famous and who wouldn't without Shady. I think J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Hopsin, 50 Cent, etc. would be successful without Eminem. I think the artists would be drastically different though. Kendrick and Cole still probably would have had a cultural influence, but I think it would have been expressed differently. All of this actively affects upcoming rappers as well.
Jul 10, 2015 j cole ok you got a point....you should logout or edit your post to remove kdot tho...if not people will point and laugh at you your call
