Id like to think it'll surprise us. Remember when Gwen Stefani was on Southpaw and the reactions everyone had? That track ended up being dope.

Noone is claiming he's not doing this. But people keep pretending like this is good music or artistically pure. Making music for the formulaic sake of a hit, instead of the purpose of good music is not artistic at all. Its manipulative and full of compromise and makes for tame, s-----y music.

More and more people are becoming more and more critical of eminem and his legacy these days, and he should really be focusing on maintaining that. He doesnt need the cash or the relevancy, dude is omnipresent. So why is it so hard to not just make music without all the stupid grab at pop appeal. Especially in 2017, where artists are embracing more typically "hiphop" avenues
