Why he's from Missouri City its not too far lol Z Ro is from Mo and Slim Thug too I think and they're arguably the biggest Houston legends other than Screw

i mean travis is rapper from the area, but not rapper reppin the scene like other newcomers like maxo kream, beat king, riff raff or sauce factory rappers. kirko bangz is more off an houston rapper than travis. dude is doing his own thing and he is not a continuation to s.u.c/swishahouse freestyle rap thing

That doesn't make him any less Houston, just means he's being more original than these other dudes.

This sounds more like ATL than Houston to me. Can't say I'm a fan of their new crop. Houston and Memphis both need a resurgence in rap.

Drake still hopping on 2 Legited 2 Quited? That was supposed to propel that dude.

That's why I like Travis. He's trying to make a new wave while still paying respect to the old one. But tbh I think all southern rap is gonna sound a bit more ATL now just because how crazy the influence is.

His rapping is definitely weak but lmao flow and subject matter are completely different from Cudder, and the darkness of his beats certaintky aren't in the same vein as Memphis or ATL
