Sep 24, 2015 Yo, how come when black people get discriminated against it's in the news section, but when crackas get discriminated it's "Life" section
Sep 24, 2015 @Jasmine god dammit all i was implying is that it would've been more likely to be a media shitstorm and not because of anything to do with black people making it so. this kind of thing tends to go off when it comes to the media and minorities. for a specific example, I've seen this EXACT type of s--- happen to gay people and it's gotten ridiculously blown out of proportion in reports and the media, and with all the s--- that's gone down recently with the police killings and protests this definitely would've blown up
Sep 24, 2015 Nah it's a she and she's black FYI. Oh and you're no longer making a cohesive point since you've agreed.
Sep 24, 2015 Racism depends on intent imo. I don't think there is anything wrong with calling a spade a spade, or a white person a white person. Especially when the use of "white ppl" conveys something to the cook. I'm sure what the owner considers a 3/10 on a spicy scale is not consistent with what that customer considers a 3. Sure I'm being presumptuous, but racist? I don't really think it's racist to assume a white person eats food less spicy than a ethnic (right word?) person.
Sep 24, 2015 Put the white people in the section where no one will look so they focus on the black people in the music section. Classic mainstream SXN80 media. But I see through it
Sep 24, 2015 anyone notice @gorealsteady isn't defending any white people with all the "f--- white people" comments in this thread? hmm..
Sep 24, 2015 This analysis goes all over the place. So to start it off.. you've decided to respond aggressively towards Jasmine.. who's, in my eyes, been very civil to you...!?! Furthermore you say black people DO NOT typically blow things out of proportion but media. Then end it off with a hard to understand story about gays who apparently also blow things out of proportion and recent police killings contributing to more proportions being blown to smithereens?? *confuxed*
Sep 24, 2015 K let me flip the stereotype for a second Is it racist to assume black people eat more watermelons and drink more grape flavored products? Assuming anything whatsoever based on race is, by definition, racist. Now, I'm with everyone saying this shouldn't be a big deal and in a perfect world we'd all laugh it off. But it is, technically, racist.
Sep 24, 2015 Do you guys sit uncomfortably when you watch Dave Chappelle? f--- n-----, this s--- is funny.
Sep 24, 2015 Bro, what? I don't know how I warranted this response. I said that I believed you, s---. Lol. I figured you meant that you were talking about it more objectively. Like this is just what happens without any underling opinions behind it, that people usually have. Which is also what you explained in this post. I guess you thought I was still being sarcastic when I said I wasn't being sarcastic. That's fair.
Sep 24, 2015 I'm pretty sure inoffensive racism is what every white kids joke catalogue consists of until they reach middle school. At least for me it was lol
