Well this is a fundamental question about how you look at the law: There are those who believe that if it serves to punish those who "deserve" to be punished that it's working; and there are those who believe that procedural breakdowns, from systemic targeting of certain groups to human error fuckups in collecting evidence, can and should be addressed. I see @Mike Tyson is viewing this thread, and I think he's in law school and can tell you--both schools of thought have and always have had lots of proponents.Ordinary Joel, Mike Tyson and Skippy like this. -

It can be. More specifically I think the way some posters talk about some incarcerated rappers--Shmurda, for example--just illustrates a narrow view of crime/the justice system and the way race affects those things. -
