Everyone is prejudiced, and prejudiced is a form of racism, so no, bring "mildly" racist isn't bad. Not feeling comfortable with blacks or feeling awkward with gays is not bad, it's stupid but you didn't choose to feel comfortable or not, you grew up to be feel comfortable with some people or not

No its not. If someone is uncomfortable because of what gay people do (im not) that is COMPLETELY different than someone being uncomfortable around blacks and calling them all "thugs"

I dont think its really subconcious. All races have different features and qualities so it would make sense that different people would have different sexual preferences. to call that racist is completely laughable its like saying I like tuna more than salmon so I'm racist against the salmon

No, what i mean is if you are uncomfortable around blacks because you generalize them as criminals, that is different than being uncomfortable around gays because you are uncomfortable with what they do in their private life. One of based off of a stereotype, one is based off of fact
