Jan 12, 2015 Immortaltechnique said it best in this thread and you still seem to disagree. There is a chance because on each of those s--- albums or average ones he showed flashes of how great he used to be, Fine Line being the most recent example. I also like other parts of some of his verses on Shadyxv. I just don't think he can make a full album with great songs anymore. Each album since 2004 he showed that he was able to make great songs (all of them had a few gems at least), but he was too lazy or whatever the reason is to keep that up for a whole album, so why would it be different this time?
Jan 26, 2015 Honestly Eminem still has something goin lyrically after hearing the Shady XV cypher...s--- is vicious
Jan 27, 2015 I'm not sure how much of this was written or practiced but i have no issues saying it's very easily the greatest freestyle of all time
Jan 27, 2015 I remember the mayhem that occurred when Eminem was on tour last year...they called it antisocial behavior lol epic...Moral of the story the dude is still a f---in problem dude still can do another "Kim" or "Brain Damage" http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/news/local-news/police-boost-powers-fight-anti-social-7410940
Jan 30, 2015 huh...Fine Line with a Lose Yourself flow would be a 15 minute song. Not only that, but i would also be able to make out the lyrics to all the garbage he is spewing. Awful idea.
Jan 31, 2015 listening to groundhog day atm f--- em is riding the beat but the song dosent fit the theme of the mmlp2 could have been on shadyxv tbh
Jan 31, 2015 to say he's only half serious would be a disservice. he's with his classic sardonic twist simply pointing out the fact that em is so sharp with his skills and thinking so clearly now, that he's giving us three songs worth of material with every track
Jan 31, 2015 I might have this song confused with that other song talking about construction hats. Its hard to remember which track is which when they all s---. Is fine line the song talking about the Outsidaz? So, for real, your telling me there is a track on this cd where Eminem was actually decent. Please come back when you have a combination of a good rap flow combined with some decent lyrics. I will wait.
Jan 31, 2015 With the amount of s-----y artists that drop albums, I think Eminem can drop a great album easily that people will like. Mmlp2 was his latest solo album and I think its better than both relapse and recovery. Anyway, all the man does is eat, sleep and s--- rap.
Jan 31, 2015 Of course he can always make another album, that's not even a question. The question is can he make another good album. I think its safe to say that the days of him making classics are long gone. But I think if he really takes his time and puts in the effort he can make one last great album. He's gonna be 43 this year, he's running out of time. I think he should take his time and try to perfect one final album. A retirement themed album. His next album should be his Detox. Then just become a full-time producer after that.
Feb 1, 2015 All people did on SL was say how he should take his time with his follow up for Recovery and he did how many years was the gap between Recovery and MMLP2? You seen what you get when he takes his time and makes countless songs. So depending on who you ask that won't help the situation at all. All I ask for with this next cd is to have a more serious tone if songs like Guts Over Fear and Fine Line made ShadyXV then I'm looking forward to see what makes his next solo album
Feb 1, 2015 That is true. He took 3 years on MMLP2 and it wound up being an average album. He recorded Recovery in less than a year and it was great. I guess it all depends on where his mind is at. Like you said, I just want an album with serious content.
