Sep 24, 2015 Not about Future but once I was playing Lord Willin with my windows rolled down while stopped at a light and this dude started yell-talking to me from the other side of the street and we had a yelling conversation about Clipse for like 30 seconds.
Sep 24, 2015 hahahahaha, that's dope. getting the aux cord is pressure, but it's mad fun depending on the setting. i got tossed the aux as an interim DJ at a big house party last month (about 150 people) and ended up playing tunes the whole night. it's gratifying in that the next song at the party is the one you want to hear. ya boy was getting mad compliments all night, but it's easy with a playlist that is very fetty, drake, and future heavy.
Sep 24, 2015 idk im almost always the guy controlling the music lol. when its just friends future and thug are almost like 95% of the playlist. but for a party its still mad easy to make a good playlist at the drop of a hat lol. cut the thug aside from a few joints like old english or throw sum mo, about the money etc. future is still perfect no matter what it is. a bit of drake. section 80 kendrick. kanye. ferg, rocky, bronson, etc idc tho from now till the end of life slime season is getting played wherever i go. it was like that with tha tour when it dropped
Sep 24, 2015 when i was @ my battle last saturday, they let me control the music for a bit before the battles started...which was dumb on their part cuz that just got me in my zoooone and ready to k--- their boi hahah i got to play ds2 and slime season...thought it was a drought, lil one, colossal, blow a bag, again, stunna, quarterback, etc...it was great lol
Sep 24, 2015 yeah, i always take the cord in more intimate settings, but rarely do i step up for bigger crowds. the only reason i took the cord was because the n----- before me was playing born sinner j. cole cuts. who the f--- turns up to born sinner j. cole.
Sep 24, 2015 its a burden n a curse lol. cuz if u have a few simp friends like i do, you'll get s--- for playing an artist like thug or future too much. but when its up to them to chose the music they cant think of s--- better lol. so it's a double edged sword tbh but i like corrupting all my friends until they're either low (or high) key thug/future stans
Sep 24, 2015 "ugh u actually like future? how can you even understand what he's saying? let me get the music for a sec?" *plays mockingbird by eminem* i swear this has happened before. i almost puked
Sep 24, 2015 My gf is an ever bigger Cole stan than me and let me tell you I've gradually been trying to introduce her to other artists, she doesn't realize listening to Born Sinner at night while driving is risky as f---.
Sep 24, 2015 You've known me long enough to know that I hate that album, but it does have its time and place for those who enjoy it. A party is not one of them.
Sep 24, 2015 Sometimes people complain when I play too much music I like and I'm just like "you can change it any time if you want to play something but if no one's going to choose then I'm going to keep choosing" and usually no one does s---. At a party I'd never touch it unless I knew the hosts personally or I asked. When we had parties at our house in college, we had two music stations: inside our house obviously, and then in our huge garage that had a pool table and couches and beer pong etc. (we had a big yard in between the garage and house so they didn't conflict). We had this old iPod with a broken screen that we didn't care if it got stolen (it eventually did of course, same night our garage got tagged and a window broken) so I'd just load it up with 100-200 songs consisting of a mixture old stuff everyone knew and new s--- and then leave it on shuffle in the garage as hidden as it could be. After that got stolen I had to use my own iPod for that but I worked out a system where I put all the cords back behind the shelf the speakers were on and camouflaged it in a literal box of garbage. No one found it and even if they did they'd have to go through so much to get it and people would be like "what the f--- are you doing." Inside the house I kinda let people do their own thing but if it got too trash I'd always step in and turn on Smokin' and Drinkin' by Danny Brown to get things back to normal.
