Ever since the pandemic I feel this way. Like it’s not natural. Last 5 years time has been super weird. People say time moves faster when you get older, but nah, there was definitely something different about that 2020-2025 jump.

The COVID-19 pandemic definitely f----- up the perception of time. Sometimes it feels fast and other times it feels slow, I don’t know anymore. It was like the whole world stopped, and I couldn’t make any progress. Now I have been stuck playing catch-up on the progress I should’ve made back then. Even though I am achieving a lot of big things for myself and my life, I still constantly feel behind where I should be. Sometimes I wonder when I will finally feel like I’ve caught up. But then again, this idea of where I’m “supposed to be” is a completely man-made concept. I just gotta remember that life isn’t a race.

It's because when Recovery dropped you were younger and the universe to you was only experienced by "X" amount of years.

As you get older and absorb more time and memories, it tends to seem like it speeds up.

It's not that time moves faster as you get older, it's that one year is a smaller percentage of your life so it gives the appearance of moving faster.

1 year of a 5 year olds life is 20% of their whole life.
1 year of a 10 year olds is 10%
1 year of a 30 year olds is 3.333%

You get my drift.
