Well you're right then. No way a guy with the name "Phillmatic" would be bias when it comes to favoring Nas

Half of Jay’s output is either mediocre (Blueprint 2, Blueprint 3, etc) or extremely dated like the Volumes.

I don’t understand how people think the Volumes compare to his classic work like Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, Black Album etc, they have aged so poorly

What does "new school" even mean? Earl's been in the public eye for seven years now. I see people use that term to describe Kendrick Lamar as well and he's been around just as long.

In my top 5. I guess I find some of his work has aged poorly and at times he was quiet unimaginative with his flows. But I can say that with a lot of my favorite rappers.

I read the first few pages and just skipped to the end or else I'd have liked every @WPG post in here.

Pac is my absolute favorite rapper of all-time but objectively Jay is the GOAT for all the reasons that have already been mentioned and the fact that he f---ing destroyed a prime 2001 Eminem on a track. Like, obliterated.

In all seriousness WPG would you rank GKMC ahead of The Blueprint or The Black Album?
