Jul 29, 2021 MBDTF is his most lavishly produced album, has a lot of good features, bangers, and some of Kanye's better bars. It checks all of the boxes that a rap album should. But subjectively, I listen to some of his other projects more often. Sonically, I prefer the more experimental production on TLOP and Graduation. And in lyrical content, I prefer College Dropout.
Jul 29, 2021 Also, the last 1/3 of the album falls off hard. h--- of a Life, Blame Game, Lost in the World. His lyrics and flows in these songs aren't nearly as good as the ones on the previous tracks. Also, the obnoxious Chris Rock skit, and the unnecessary outro.
Jul 29, 2021 It's one of his best projects sonically and easily his worst lyrically. Usually, I don't care much about lyrics if the songs themselves are good. Look at Nirvana; half of their lyrics are gibberish and they make excellent songs. And there are songs in foreign languages, which I don't know what the lyrics mean, but the song still sounds good. But Kanye's lyrics on this are so bad that they take me away from the music and make my mind pay attention to how bad the lyrics are. This album could've been his best if he spent more than a few days writing and recording the songs. But as is, IMO, it's a good album.

Jul 29, 2021 I was playin btw. My top 3 is the same as yours. I never really cared about his other albums but I do like songs here and there. Also hated Yeezus.
