Eminem Is MMLP2 Classic?

    There's a handful of great songs on there. But nowhere near a whole albums worth, therefore a long way from being a classic. Shame as the potential was there. Just needed to step away from the s-----y songs like Survival and Stronger than I Was that had no rlrvence to the original MMLP whatsoever.

    Really love the album, took lyricism to another level

    has some trash beats tho... love game being the prime example of song had potential but ruined by production.

    however, as Papa buff said, it has some few classic songs

    gonna have to disagree with this. I think this is one of the few songs that actually worked with that style of instrumental

    to answer op, no. not in my opinion anyway. it's a solid album for sure but it has too many flaws to be considered classic. I place it in 5th among his albums with only the first 3 being classics.

    I don't have much time to explain why, but MMLP2 doesn't sound like a Classic Eminem. Mockingbird and Yellow Brick Road beat the entire MMLP2 (especially Mockingbird). Legacy is the track that reminds the Classic Eminem the most, but it has terrible lines about the Italian sausage.

    I absolutely love the album some of my favorite songs come from it ( bad guy, Headlights ,rap god rhyme or reason .a------ etc). That being said I cant call it classic because it just just sounds so idk scripted? It seems like it doesn't have any cohesion or passion just a few tracks put together. If you switch out baby and stronger than I was i think it'd be close to a classic. Id say its better than Encore , Recovery and Relapse but not better than SSLP MMLP or TES

    one song off of recovery that i think EASILY could've came out back in the day is on fire. That s--- sounds like classic em it might even be a old song that he didnt use until now

    Flowwise, MMLP2 was terrible. Production was better than on Recovery. Inconsistence is the biggest issue. And I'd prefer something with no choppy flow.

    Right...but in what WORLD is it worse than Encore?
    I agree that it's nowhere close to the perfection of Eminem Show. But it's surely better than ENCORE.

    The flow wasn't bad on MMLP2, it wasn't even choppy. The choppy flow started with ShadyXV
