May 26, 2016 Op: Eminems beats are fine. Eminems lyrics are fine. He exploded back then largely because he was unflitered, unapologetic, and raw (emotion)....he lacks on all of these things now, that is why his new songs get hated on. Not due to lyrical ability. He is guarded (doesnt speak on private life, which makes him unrelatable) His emotion (angst), is forced, aka screamng. His 'rawness' has been tamed by being an out of touch, locked up recluse. ...oh, and he apologises all the time now which makes me cringe. Capich?
May 27, 2016 Doesn't speak on private life and is guarded? Headlights was a song dedicated to his mother and Stronger Than I Was a song about the obstacles and heartache he faced in his relationship with his ex wife. Both songs from his last album
May 27, 2016 Both s----d too. Headlights is probably the worst Eminem song of all time. Stronger than I was is generic content...I'm not guessing here buddy, Eminem himself already said he feels like he has shared too much of his personal life in the past and will refrain from it moving forward. So yeah, "unnnnnnnh" in the middle of a line doesn't equal emotion.
