The myth that when proof died so did D12 is bs. Fame as you mentioned is prime example of Eminem representing D12. Hit me with your best shot was supposed to be on recovery, he still toured with them in 2011. In 2009 in the rap city interview he mentions how they have a special bond, growing up together, D12 would have a new album and carry on. Clearly Eminem drifted in his personal life once Royce and him essentially moved in together.

Em ditching D12 is some fake hoe s--- perpetrated by royce I feel. The second slaughterhouse formed, it was done. Its like royce and d12 cant coexist in Eminem's circle. Royce has been the biggest yes man to Eminems worst s--- standing by for revival and mmlp2. Atleast D12 made good songs. I can't think of a single slaughterhouse song I've ever wanted to go back and listen too. Overrated because they rap super technical and boring af.

Kuniva and swift are more entertaining than any slaughterhouse members verses are to listen to and bizarre has more memorable lines than the entire slaughterhouse discog. Kunivas biggest mistake was reuniting Eminem and Royce. Imagine the garbage we could've avoided

It's not hard to imagine that D12 is closely associated with that time he did all of the drugs.

BUT also it wouldn't be hard to throw these guys a feat once and a while.

Who knows though. Em and Mr. Porter are pretty good friends arent they? Maybe one day Porter talks Em into doing something with D12.

Maybe get a D12 track on his retirement album or something at the very least.

If Em ever retires with an Encore 2 I hope it's all produced by Dre 100% with a D12 feature or two. I hope Em gives us for his last album Encore / Relapse quality production start to finish with skits. He has to end it with skits and a final track. I know he will go out with a b--- and will never let us down. We need a 20 track final album with Royce, Obie Trice, Dr. Dre, Fifty, Joyner Lucas, Yelawolf

I agree slaughterhouse is pretentious and boring, but no one in d12 except eminem had any talent whatsoever. You'd think some of it would rub off of eminem, but they have absolutely nothing. They are to eminem what outlawz were to 2pac. A baggage.

It's not even about talent. What is the difference, what rhyme skills do these guys from D12 have?

These guys created a certain atmosphere when they were next to Eminem. Eminem did not look like a loner (what he looks like these days), he looked like a guy with his g---, with his surroundings. It was very cool when he was with D12. Eminem lost this atmosphere, and maybe that's why I'm no longer interested in his new concerts and his new albums. He lost that atmosphere when he was cool with his team.

Those who only think about rhyme skills definitely don’t understand how albums are sold and how promo are made. Eminem in the early 2000s is not only songs, it is also a very cool atmosphere. Everyone wanted to be part of it, part of his team, part of his label. I have not seen anything like it in the last few years. He finally lost touch with his old fans when he lost touch with D12 and stopped touring with them and doing joint tracks. It is all about that.

They have already done something big for them. If you remember, in 2011 the D12 contract with Interscope ended and the Slaughterhouse contract with Interscope began. Since then, you can forget about the release of the 3rd album of the group.
