Feb 7, 2015 Take from me is okay.. Actually BME as a whole was pretty good I thought from like a lyrics and flow standpoint. It had two things that stopped it from being 10000 times better though and that's the fact that em yells soooo god d--- much in that era and he just forgot how to make good punchlines. Also for people confused as to why deja vu is so liked.. Its because the song is f---ing normal!! For one of the very very few times since he's come back he rapped with his actual voice, a smooth breath controlled flow and a fresh/interesting topic. All over a very vintage Eminem sounding beat... I just don't understand why he doesn't rap like that more often.
Feb 7, 2015 Deja Vu is praised so much because it's the closest thing to a perfect song that he's done since his first 3 albums. The verses were outstandingly good and portrayed how his addiction affected him in a way where you could actually envision it. The hook was hauntingly beautiful. And the production? One of the best beats he has ever rapped on. This isn't even the best post-hiatus, it's in a leauge of it's own with the likes of Stan,SFTM,Lose Yourself, etc.
