We have always been unfortunately. Throughout history, even before our generation and the previous ones existed. The world was always ruled by the white supremacist who were and still are hungry for power and having things go their way in this globe. They were and are nothing but barbaric savages, if you take a look at the history of imperialism, colonization, slavery etc. They are so good at flexing their power against the ones that are inferior to them. what? do you watch the mainstream western media? The West is still supporting this massacre, pro Palestinian protest are being banned, politicians who oppose it are being pushed aside. What are you talking about?

First the bombing must stop, and a real boycott and embargo should be done to Israel. Thats what I'd do for starters. But the EU and US are rotten civilizations and this wont likely happen but it doesnt mean we shouldnt fight and go out and protest for it? You instead chose to be all cynical to not get too involved in the discussion trying to grasp at straws. Thats why we are not respecting you mate.

What about pushing the Gazans to the Sinai desert? I feel you wouldnt be so d--- picky about this "solution" that is being proposed?

We are not politicians here, but if the Holocaust was f---ing happening now, I wouldnt try to get stuck in the "whats the actual solution". What was the solution in Rwanda? And in Srbenica in Bosnia? What were the solutions? We sit and debate it for a million hours while people keep dying? The solution was to stop the f---ing killing and arrest the perpretators for f---s sake. But according to you its to victim blame and not take a stand.

Every time you guys go on this tangent about “western media” you sound like the flip side of Trump supporters screaming “fake news!” You’re literally doing the same exact thing; not to mention picking & choosing when “western media” is reliable or not:

I also don’t know why you're talking as if “the west” has this unifying opinion on this conflict. We’re talking about dozens of countries with millions of people. Most of whom would agree that civilian death is awful as a basic underlying principle.

This doesn’t actually solve the root of the problem & that’s my point. You guys are preaching for an end to the violence in the short term without engaging with any possible solution that will end the violence in the long-term. Advocating for Palestinian statehood without talking about how to get there is meaningless.

Nothing we discuss here on Section Eighty is going to have any material impact on what’s happening in Gaza. You can post a million free Palestine posts; or Twitter posts of the IDF bombing hospitals; that’s not saving people’s lives either. So let’s get that clear.

I’m asking for you guys to contribute something that’s more than surface level. If that’s beyond your scope of knowledge or you just haven’t really gave it much thought, that’s totally fine! In that case, maybe don’t act like an authority figure on this issue & be so quick to dismiss everything because “WeStErN MeDiA” or “L1berals!!”
