Jan 13, 2015 Get Rich or Die Tryin' is definitely a classic from start to finish. The only song I ever skip on it is Heat, GKMC has at least 5 songs on it I skip. What Up Gangsta, Patiently Waiting, Many Men, In Da Club, High All the Time, If I can't, Blood Hound, Back Down, P.I.M.P. Like My Style, Poor Lil Rich, 21 Questions, Don't Push Me, Gotta Make it to Heaven, and the bonus tracks are all great songs bruh. Back on the SL forum there was a poll of GRODT vs. GKMC and Get Rich was winning by a healthy margin. I'm not shi--ing on GKMC by any means, I just don't think it can be placed in the cream of the crop yet.
Jan 13, 2015 its the greatest album of our time. it has everything to be classic so yeah ,it is an undisputable one
Jan 13, 2015 no s--- sherlock... its also on every "best albums of all time, in any genre" list from respectable magazines
Jan 16, 2015 First time I heard the album from beginning to end was when I was painting. The album leaked while I was moving so I didn't get a chance to play it right away. I had just bought our first house and I was re-painting. All alone the album banging and just doing my thing, I played the album back to back to back. To me it's a classic, one of my favorite albums that will always be with me. The feeling I got the first time I heard BDKMV, Backseat Freesetyle, Money Trees, Sing about Me, etc, along with the excitement of purchasing my first home and experiencing both at the same time will stick with me forever.
Jan 17, 2015 It's a universal classic whether your mind is willing to accept that or not, get real. When you don't feel like watching a great movie, the movie doesn't SUDDENLY become s---. I haven't listened to Aquemini or 36 Chambers for about a year, that doesn't mean anything.
Jan 17, 2015 This was a classic known by most people years ago lmao. s----s amazing. In my top 10 albums all time.
Jan 17, 2015 Actually, this and Yeezus are the physical CDs I keep in my car for when I forget my iPod/it's not working. I've been listening to this album for 2 straight years now
Jan 17, 2015 Not many people still listen to Illmatic or Reasonable Doubt in 2015 either, that doesn't change the fact that they're classics. Judging music based on how often it's listened to is stupid. For the record I still play a lot of songs from GKMC fairly often.
Jan 17, 2015 You probably didn't like it as much as the rest of us That album is pretty close to perfect to me.
Jan 17, 2015 By far one if not the best the last 10 years. To put it near the top with Illmatic, Paid In Full, Straight Outta Compton, The Chronic, Enter The Wu Tang (36 Chambers), Doggy Style, Ready to Die, Reasonable Doubt, MMLP is a bit of a stretch at this point.
Jan 17, 2015 been known. Also the album sold more this year than most albums released these past 12 months GKMC(2012) in 2014: +230K My Krazy Life(2014): +230K
Jan 17, 2015 The article wasn't needed at all.. It was already considered a classic album few weeks after its release.
