Dec 10, 2014 Cool idea, just executed very poorly. Should have been crafted into a full length song rather than have it separated and 14 minutes long.
Dec 10, 2014 Don't worry I got you covered, bro. I fixed the errors you made, as you can see in bold.
Dec 12, 2014 So if someone liked Born Sinner would they like the new album? I thought Born Sinner was ok, still haven't bought or listened to any of Forrest Hills Drive and i'm not sure if i should get it or not.
Dec 13, 2014 Whew! Yes! This is the Cole we have been waiting for. Honestly thought if him and Kendrick ever did do a collab album Cole wouldn't be able to hang with Kendrick. But I think this album shows that there is a reason Jay & Kanye are watching the throne.
Dec 13, 2014 The album keeps growing on me the more I listen to it, but it's still below Born Sinner and Sideline Story.
Dec 13, 2014 Pretty decent album..I find it to flow a bit better than his previous albums but I still prefer listening to Born Sinner over this..the production is pretty great on this album though
Dec 13, 2014 After a few solidified listens, this sit's in the 8.5 category. Fluent, cohesive & structured very well.
Dec 13, 2014 Beginning is beautiful. You can tell by increased pace of the piano it's going to close the album nicely. The mixture of the female vocals with the bass guitar Can't tell you the amount of times I've sung the chorus at work and the minutes have continuously flown by. Bridge is perfect too. I leave the track running so I can hear the 'Love' vocals at the end
Dec 17, 2014 Best cole project since friday night lights. Incredible. Fire squad is on par with kendricks verse on control.
Dec 17, 2014 Agree with all this, but comparing it to control is too far imo. It was more of a social commentary than a diss (or whatever you'd call that) like Control was.
