Dec 17, 2014 Word. Control was directed at the most prominent rappers in the culture in a very direct manner. Fire Squad addressed the genre's position on a whole, only targeting some aspects of the culture.
Dec 17, 2014 I didn't take Kendricks verse on control as a diss I felt it was just telling people they need to step it up. Only way to get better is to compete.
Dec 22, 2014 Hate all you want, but I really like Hello. I think he's a dope singer. He could have rapped a little more, but I still really like that song.
Dec 22, 2014 i've really tried to like this album, but at the end of the day it's nothing more than mediocre. fairly minimal replay value, offers minimal tone/energy variances between tracks, and is just underwhelming in general.
Dec 22, 2014 I can't like this. It this a 4/10 album. I see where is coming Cole but besides the intro it this just bad. "Wet Dreamz" must be one of the worst tracks i have ever heard in my life, i mean what the f--- . Beat selection is bad, Cole's flow is boring, lyrics are corny and stupid, and his singing skills in the album where really lame. Sorry Cole, but this s--- is not AOTY by any means
Dec 22, 2014 FHD is an 8/10. If nothing else just watch that review I posted a few posts up by Dead End Hip Hop.
Dec 22, 2014 Off-Topic but oh well. Shady XV: 8.5/10 with some 10/10 tracks but i like to see it more as just "Extra content". Got some important lows like Bane and Down (I love Yelawolf don't get me wrong but that track was meh). Em rapping skills on the album where insane. MMLP2: 9.5/10, an incredible comeback with some of the best songs Em had ever do. But it got the problem of got a, let's say, a just 7/10 song like Survival and lacks the "atsmophere" that his previous albums got.
Dec 22, 2014 Not a fanboy of anybody, I appreciate GOOD music, and MMLP2 and Shady XV were atrocious. Can you even complete a full sentence without f---ing it up?
