    man the title track on this album is far and away the best song on here. Anything less than this track wouldve hurt this album. That outro is unbelievable

    What make this album so potent is that this story will always be relevant. Everyone knows a person from high school or maybe college that died from dealing drugs or went to jail for a long time and left behind a little girl or boy.

    Last line in folding Clothes. " I see you sleeping and it feels like everything is going to be alright" transitions perfectly to the baby crying (possible waking up) in She's mine pt 2.

    In other news I make my coaching debut tonight. Not expecting much really. Just as long as they hustle and have good sportsmanship then it's all good.     Fantano is also a white male without any children, the album was simply not for his demographic. Even if he states that he understands the album, he doesn't feel the album.

    Nope, all I see is that C.R.E.A.M n-----, that green

    Cole is asking his friend questions stating have you seen these really negative things happening in your community and also have you seen these positive things happen? Cole's friend is unaware of what his actions are causing in his community and is also unaware of how the environment around him is keeping him from the positive things.

    This is the first track after the foreshadowing into and it shows Cole's friends ignorance when he is younger. Later on, he realizes his faults and the album is more somber as he knows his past will catch up to him.

    This album is so d--- good man how it mesh's some of Cole's life and some of his friends to deliver this message.

    Maybe. Maybe not. I think artist generally record a ton of songs when going through the album process. Cole probably got 100's of songs from The Sideline story up til now that we will never hear.
