    Close to 10 listens in. Yea, this most definitely my favorite Cole project since FNL. Ville Mentality is St. Tropez of this album for me so I feel I'ma start to skip that one pretty soon. I saw a lot of mixed reviews and opinions on this, but I expected it to be that way. It isn't for everybody. Fortunately, it is exactly what I wanted of Cole since his debut so it is for me. The first listen was GOAT tho, I was so confused what the f--- I just listened.

    Maybe, but everything leading up to that line is perfection.
    That song is all about family in the end and i can relate to that.

    Not sure if anyone has seen this posted or not, but here's an interesting article on J Cole. This was written before the album dropped so I'm curious to see if Shea Serrano's opinion changes. He's a big Cole hater. Doesn't even think he's good.

    Is the title track the Knight (Night) Rider song/concept? He said it was too deep to put on his first album + he mentioned that he wanted to get out his full thoughts on this album. I can't see him saving a song that he thinks is too deep and not placing it on this album and not finally giving it out in this album.

    my friend and i did a review on it, check it out and subscribe too!

    my thoughts: my top three songs at the moment are changes, she is mine pt 2 and 4 your eyez. Also neighbor bumps too, the amount of instrumental usage is crazy on this album. Although i do not think this album reflects his best work over all his albums that he has made, imo born sinner was his best album to me.

    Although I wish Cole would've dropped Deja Vu a long time ago I'm glad he finally released it.

    Shows he was confident in his version and dropped it anyways. This same sort of thing happened with No I.D. with Ross recorded Tears of Joy and Cole didn't release his version. This also happened with Stay and Nas.
