No features ain't even that big of a deal. Yes she should have gotten a feature but your dude didn't even credit Popcaan as a feature who literally had a whole part of his song to himself multiple times on Controlla rather than someone just adding to Cole vocals. Also again I know what you're saying, but the Quentin Miller reference tracks changed everything and are not the same as All Day reference track for example. Drizzy took a lot of Qmiller verse for Rico which could mean he's done it for other verses. And even if Ye does something similar doesn't mean it doesn't change my view of him either. He just gets more of a pass because we know he's handling a lot on the production side.

Which brings me to my next point. I love the music on it and yes it is a different standard to someone like Drake who is recognized as a talented writer, but ultimately the music industry is about having these group of people coming together to create something special; the only time to me when it should ever be an issue if it's straight hijacked or uncredited.

But for me this is not an argument of "Drake doesn't write his own s--- whatsoever, he isn't a great songwriter" etc. This is an argument of who knows? The doubt is already there. There is nothing you can tell me that will change my mind about him taking too much of rico verse I love. Even the whole feel of 10 bands is Quentin Miller even though he took less bars. My point, anytime you see Drake crediting other people, its now different to me. This isn't a Weeknd thing giving him some skeletons of a track. This is using other rappers bars verbatim and that automatically makes me wonder whether he wrote a specific bar that I love anytime I hear it. I can still have no doubt about really personal s--- like Look What youve done and Too much because no one else could write that s---. But bars on other songs with other credit writers are up for discussion. Thats all and I still love Drake just a reality I have to come to grips with.
