    Actually I don't think it's been an issue until now. He just stuck to the theme so well that he lost a lot of the elements that made his music good in the past.

    I think the next level for Cole is to put this level of writing together with the charm that songs like Work Out, God's Gift, In The Morning etc. had.

    d--- these songs are all dope but even if u stripped views down to like the 10 best tracks, theres still no identity on that album

    I agree some of those songs are better. Foldin Clothes still better than the worst songs on VIEWS though which was my original point.

    Cant understand comparisons between Cole and Drake. They dont have the same background and same demographic. It's a non sense.

    My impressions after sitting in it for a bit:
    It has some of the best songs he's ever made but as an album it's just not good
