    This was the first Cole album I've listened to where I really feel the "Je-cole makes you sleep effect" lol. I actually liked it on first listen. It's not as impactful or polyvalent as FHD was for me, but I really liked aspects of it. It will take me a few listens to truly digest some stuff. Some songs were pretty good (on first listen) while others were just slow and sleepy. Sometimes when J-Cole talks about certain s--- I just really "click" with it (if that makes sense. Like I loved parts of "Foldin Clothes". It's almost certain I will appreciate some of the songs I snored through on 2nd listen but for now it's a 7/10

    Lmao I woke up this morning and played this all the way through and it's even better than yesterday. All these years carrying the J. Cole lost movement with a couple of others in Cruz's absence I already planned the jokes but I can't be fake b. It is what it is.

    This album is the best I've ever felt about any Cole project since FNL. That's no exaggeration... I've been listening to this over and over again, and after like the 9th or so listen EVERY song is so incredible.
    Cole f---in did it.
