    it's not dumb.
    it's called being relatable.

    I live with my GF for a while now, I'm 100% feeling foldin clothes more than someone who is not living with their girl.

    Someone who has a kid and is married and has a friend killed before 30 is definitely feeling this album more than I.

    obviously but you could say this about literally any album

    just because you aren't specifically who the album was made for (race, gender, occupation, age) your opinion on it isn't automatically discredited is what im saying. he is a professional music reviewer you wouldnt apply that logic to any other album, would you? i mean unless you disagree with the concept of reviewing art in general and so ur beef isnt with fantano but thats a whole other thing

    your opinion is not discredited, correct.
    it's just others may hold higher value and merit than yours.

    one theme sprinkled throughout this album is the black struggle.
    it wouldn't have as much of as an impact on this topic if the same album was made by a white person.

    Never said he can't comment on the album I was stating the reason that the review 0% matters to me. Trust me I respect everyone's views all I was saying is that coles music isn't about being a genius or perfect rhyme schemes, it's about giving you his soul and helping you feel what he is trying to portray. And listeners such as yourself and Mr. Fantano do not care to look past what "by the book great music" is and therefore are not who Cole is making music for.

    People always bring this up like man like tf do black people think that is the one topic white people just can't understand or discredit like you must've forgot he gave tpab a 10

    Like no one discredits reviews on Views because they're not Canadian or on Yeezus because they're not into fashion
    I'm not even a fan of fantano I disagree with a huge amount of his opinions but he's just dead on here pulling the race card about that is laughable

    Ofc I do I've tried to enjoy his music a bunch of times his review is just a crictical analysis of the album and what were the positives and negatives it's not like he slandered the album he gave it a positive review

    You're too stuck on the fact that I brought up a race or a demographic, what I was conveying was the fact that people with children and individuals in the black community, are going to feel the album and that transcends any music theory arguements and all that extra BS. You asked the question how anyone could disagree with the review and I'm giving you the reason, it's because the people that Cole is truly trying to reach could give 2 s----s about some dude that gives it a 6/10. Even if he gave the album a 10/10, I still wouldn't care, I don't need someone's words to affirm the way music makes me feel

    i just think it was an undeniably fair and quality review and even a fan should be able to admit that instead of discounting because of something like race/age/whatever

    but ya like i said, fair enough fam like the album for whatever reason you have happy holidays
