    I agree completely. That's kinda why I put James in quotes. Either James isn't the main character, or the final verse of "Change" is from Cole's perspective. I think it's the latter. It would make sense that Cole was younger than the guy (18 years to his 22). Or if the main character witnessed James being killed, then "Foldin Clothes" makes sense as a representation of the main character attempting to straighten his life out by dedicating himself to his girl as well as grappling with concepts of respectability and assimilation while balancing his relationships with his friends from his old lifestyle.
