    Fam i did know about that song since I started stanning Cole in 2010, he hinted that s--- a few times on Twitter and interviews back in the day :idk: To me it does sound like it, as well as '03 Adolescence, January 28th and Apparently.

    But at least we agree on that Kendrick is trash

    In regards to the 8/10 vs the 10/10 questions, I prefer the the latter. BUT if it's from someone that I stan or from someone who's labelled as the best, from a respect standpoint, I'm gonna ride with the former. I can't really advocate for someone who doesn't write their own lyrics. Drake loses a lot of credibility to me because all those bars aren't his...allegedly. I still love his music. He'll never be better than Cole because of that.

    if you've listened to the reference tracks (like 5-6 have leaked) he takes maybe 3-5 bars from a writer. mostly hooks. they're starting points, he does the rest. it's not really as bad as people make it out to be.

    drake is an great writer, he didn't get his start as a ghost writer for being anything less than that.
