    After multiple listens, this album finally makes sense. He's is telling the story of his wife's (Melissa Heholt) father. This entire album is dedicated to her. I remember seeing an interview long long ago where he stated that he calls her "Nina". He has mentioned "Nina" in multiple songs throughout his career. Last track of the album.. "'Round the same time is when you came in this world // Me and your mama thinking // "What the f--- we naming this girl?" // I told her "Nina", the prettiest name that I could think of.

    4 Your Eyez Only is the story of her father.

    I'm gonna be honestly, I really don't think so bruh. If so that would mean melissa's father is saying to Cole "I knew you since we were children." Not saying it's impossible but that's highly unlikely.

    Not possible. The protagonist grew up with Jermaine. Also would you tell your wife her father was the first to get some p---- 12 years old?

    I feel as if the last track is the perspective of multiple fathers including cole, its such a long track so its hard to tell. But I am 100% nina is his wife, not sure if someone can find that interview where he says that. He also has other songs where he mentions the name nina.

    If this can be confirmed then maybe Cole actually named his own daughter Nina due to his wife's nickname. But if you listen he says he was 19 and handed a prison sentence when Nina was born so it leaves me to think Nina is still the daughter of his friend.

    I've listened to it on repeat since released and this is totally wrong. The forum already decided on what it was about.

    His friend wanted Cole to tell his story to his daughter (friends) and have the daughter listen to it when she's ready.
