Cole just doesn't have enough help (with production and writing) to match Drake's output so yeah he gotta drop only 9/10 projects at the rate he's going. Logic already got another album coming a year after Under Pressure and we aint getting s--- from Cole this year

And who says Cole will take two years out. Born Sinner was released June 25th 2013. He then released ROTD January 2014. A whole 6 months later (Oh, the pain). Then 2014FHD was announced/leaked mid November of the same year. I think we can survive guys. Don't forget the features on other people's s---. Let's all calm down.

i agree tho, cole going ghost and coming out with tracks like hello doesn't really justify this strategy. But the whole roll-out and strategy for FHD definitely did contribute to its success

I'm still not sure why TPAB is in conversations anymore? That album was straight critic bait, does anyone really bump TPAB fully? That album is like when you have to write a report on a classic novel and it's "so good" but you end up dreading the whole thing. But if you do still bump that album, congrats that s----s a chore.

It's funny because I enjoy this tape for what it is and I'm gonna keep like four tracks that I'll bump heavy. But I find it funny how Drake is being rewarded for some of the laziest output of his career.

Back to Back had me back fully on board but the fact that a lot of people are just glancing over the fact that this is a pretty lazy project is funny to me. Like, cole really caught flack for his first two albums doesn't and even Kendrick got more criticism than ever from the general public with TPAB, but with Drake can get outperformed by future on a ok-solid mixtape and nobody questions his greatness and everybody still acts like he's the best out.

Cole can take his time with the music there's been a ridiculous abundance of heat that's been dropping on a damm near weekly basis this year. As long as he crafts another good or even great project I'll be satisfied. I am curious about what direction he'll go with on his next project, I think he'll still keep that "people's champ" image that endeared him to a lot of folks.
