    this the way i see it: if ANY one of those songs from What a Time were released as loosies (most of them wood have to be Future ft. Drake) they wud b hyped up and probably b hits and everyone wud say drake killed his feature ...

    yet when its packaged into a project people get disappointed by the fact it didn't reach expectations of a project from those two ... yet the truth is like I've said a few times before already and implied just now the songs basically are future songs with a drake feature that was hustled in within a 6 day period, so theres nothing wrong with that to me

    and i feel like maybe this is just another genius chess move by drake to have the views from the 6 reception b crazy because this project is so trap heavy and VFT6 will just come out of nowhere with a new sound

    All I want is Views. Cuz I'm treating these last two projects as mixtape quality. Not albums. If those are albums, then Drake has decreased in quality MASSIVELY since NWTS. I have faith Drake is just doing these mixtapes and tracks to feed radio and keep his name out there. I like that Drake's approach/style is completely 180 to Kendrick and Cole.

    Word, sort of how Jodeci Freestyle is a flames 10/10 song, but if it had been on FHD or NWTS, it woulda been whatever to me.

    WTT was meticulously crafted, this is not a comparable. This is Drake slapping verses on Future songs and make it sound good because, well, he's Drake.

    This is closer to a Truly Yourz tape, where it's just a collection of nice tracks. Nothing more nothing less. 3 months from now I'm gonna revisit Plastic Bags, 30 for 30, and Diamonds Dancing.

    Views gonna be GOAT, I bet everything on it.

    That's his 6th project, it's an ode to his home town, and 40 is close to GOAT status right now. He even dropped two tapes to test the market.

    2nd tape had one track with 40 production on it though, I agree he's in his prime

    40 is just a contributing factor to Views that's gonna put it over the top, there is none better right now imo

    lol tbh i succumbed to the same thing I'm posting about first few listens i let my expectations of a project from those two ruin my view (pun intended) ... sometimes u gotta just listen mayne thats what music is for

    ill tell u what if this s--- comes out in physical second week I'm buying it in a second and will b bumping in the whip all the time just like I've done with IYRTITL all year long
