I haven't even listened to "Lord Knows" since Meek started the Drake beef. Gotta be careful so I don't get caught bumping that s---. Although Tory f---ing Lanez made your album from a light 5 to a f---ing solid 7 by producing that track and making that GOAT hook. f---ing insecure fa----, Fargo should've kept that s--- for himself.

crazy to think he dropped two solid projects this year and the best is still yet to come

exactly what i suspected:
Perhaps not unlike the Future project, the tape was conceived as a palate cleanser, Drake says—a wild sprint he wanted to get out of his system before turning to the marathon that would be Views. “It was the set up to be able to return to working solely with 40, which is where I’m at now,” he says, explaining that the new album has involved collaborating more intimately with 40 than he has since Take Care. “I just wanted to be able to come back to that and have it be important.”

hey i forgot to say - was thinking this earlier today when i was listening to 30 for 30 but wasn't close to a computer

anyone get the feeling drake actually talking bout cole on 30 for 30 - and not meek, or kendrick, or himself dropping views in january like a lot of people have speculated ... i thought it from the beginning but never really gave it a second thought just because everyone thought it was about views and because cole brought out drake at his show n whatnot ... n then i realized, what freestyle did drake perform at that very show ? (the answer is - lines from 30 for 30)

I thought you wanted yours like I want mine
I guess you just making moves on your own time
But just know it'll be January in no time
And your absence is very concerning
It's like you went on vacation with no plan of returning

What happened to the things you n----s said was supposed to happen?
Are we just supposed to ignore the fact that it never happened?
We just supposed to get the pie and then split it in two?
Supposed to forget your mistakes but not forget about you?

i know cole dropped FHD and won with that, and i know drake and cole always been cool, blah blah blah ... so this may sound crazy to some of y'all BUT truthfully i feel like all drake wants and has wanted for the past couple years is for cole to be right there with him at the top and not go ghost all the time ... i know it sounds crazy right like why would he want the competition ? but idk man like i just said in my last post, drake is on some other s--- ...

the best comparison i can make is say ur playing pickup basketball (or any sport for those of u who play different sports) with someone who's close to ur level, but that person is not trying and ur just washing him ... ur gonna feel kinda cheated u know, like u actually want the person to go hard so u can see what u can do

if u guys don't understand this concept u just never will, but idk I'm really into psychology and i really feel this is all drake wants from cole tbh, for him to stop going ghost and actually come for the throne with all he's got ... like he has fun messing with meek mill and beefing with guys he can squash easily but he really wants to see what cole can do and how he can make drake go harder, u know like he sees cole as a worthy adversary and wants to play that game ... and its not that he will ever beef with cole but he just wants cole to "play the game" with him, and stop playing his own game with his own rules where he just drops albums n goes ghost

please don't make me have written this post for nothing y'all even if u disagree and want make fun of me i wanna hear it, been a while since we had some discussions like this on here

i thought of it as a clear shot at kanye. Especially the absence/vacation s---. He's always took jabs at kanye. Just sounds like another kanye jab tbh.
