    But if you are basing this on fact, what is Kendrick factually better than Cole at? I like @KLD3816 believe Kendrick is a better lyricist, but is that enough anyway? I don't neccessarily think so.

    The reason you can't say its fact is because, for example, if I think Cole has a better voice than Kendrick. thats purely opinion. There's no factual basis for that. There's no factual basis for when comparing FHD or TPAB cause its apples and oranges. Sure, you can have objective measures such as writing, production, cohesiveness etc. But, even that is based on what your opinion of good music is. I might think A Tale of 2 Citiez is a better beat than Alright, but is there any factual basis for that. No imo. Music is too subjective for me to say anything is fact.

    And if you admit Cole's music moves you more, why can't that be reason enough to consider him better? Only you can make that decision obviously so if you feel Cole is lacking in other areas then I understand, but Cole's relatability and ability to move people can be looked at as a skill and not purely a circumstance of you having more in common than him.

    You don't just wake up and have the ability to write and particularly articulate the feelings of milllions of people and connect to with them on a very personal level regardless of your background. Thats a skill in and of itself so when people say Cole is more relatable yeah it might be because they simply have more in common with him, but its also because Cole got the pen and the soul that evokes that feeling of "he knows what I'm going through."

    Anyway, if you were to ask me GKMC era, I myself would have said Kendrick was the better artist.
    But based on their last projects, Cole is the better artist as of right now.

    And that's my opinion, not fact.

    Wait till Rosenberg sees that Cole is actually reaching out and working with a variety of producers now. We've seen tweets from Mike Will Made It and Flying Lotus mentioning Cole. I'm sure there are more producers Cole will work with. Wasn't there rumors of Cole and Dahi working together? And Timbo gives Cole a lot of props and said "Cole is next" a couple years ago so I hope they cooked up s--- together, too. Cole could have some huge records in the vault. Can't wait to see what he drops next

    To me you can't have 4.

    Get them the f--- out and put in Pac, Cube, OutKast (both need to be there) and Ye!

    f--- what you heard. If you can't have Pun or Big L in there... then you can't have Kendrick in there.

    There are so many more people worthy of the list.

    Common, 50, DMX, LL... on and on.

    As for the Cole vs. Kendrick s---....

    I think that Kenny is higher up on the list because of his Major projects, but Cole is the peoples champ so they let heart over mind get the best of them.

    fam weve seen producers "working" with cole since FNL. UNtil i hear music produced by a super producer i wont believe it exists.

    Seems like Cole is focusing more on producing for other artists now though. I think he'll still produce a little for himself but it looks like he has reached out to other producers lately.

    And he said it in an interview leading up to or after FHD that he's ready to work with other producers. We shall see :jordan:

    I'm pretty sure this has happened a million times with Cole. I like that he's selective and now knows his direction clearly, but it would be nice to hear more music from him.

    This by August Alsina : "I literally talked to Cole about hopping on that song. I literally talked to Drake about hopping on that song," explained August. "Cole actually called me and was like 'Man, I love the song, but I just feel I don't like have anything to offer' ... He also said he's trying to move in a different direction. Whatever direction that is I don't know."
