But if he said "When we f--- around and drop.." the internet would go crazy and there wouldn't be anything to hide. You know Cole likes to f--- around with that kind of stuff.
This way there is still a chance we get the collab album. And of course this keeps the buzz around, because nothing is set in stone.

I know it's too early to say, but 30 for 30 freestyle should of been the last track on VFT6, maybe even the first song. Reminds me of Tuscan Leather

That collab album is coming 100%. Would be huge backlash if we dont get that s--- in feb. TDE and dreamville been chillin together ever since cole got off tour. ANyways, the more i listen to kendricks black friday the more i realize how much damage he did to that beat. Dude absolutely blew coles out of the water, even tho i think To2C is a better/easier beat to flow on. Kendrick uses his flows as instruments which is just ridiculous. And i also heard Cole and kendrick did these songs day before black friday which is amazing because kendricks verses were so densely packed, to think he can write rhymes like that so quickly is mind-blowing.

exactly, he didnt wana basically announce it right now ... this way he gets the people talking but it will still be somewhat unexpected

u really want cole to have all his non-stans getting disappointed in february when he drops a solo? @Head Bussa he can't win in that situation no matter how good the album is, it has to b the collab now cole has learned his lessons through the years he won't make this mistake

plus u say within the next two years ... now is as good a chance as they will ever get to drop the collab, they both just dropped their solos a year ago and been ghost since ... plus u act like they're not both free right now to b working on the finishing touches of the album (until february) - why do u think they wud drop these remixes? it means they're working ... drake just dropped a collab still fresh in peoples minds, set to drop vft6 and potentially extend his lead on everybody ... everything just sets up perfectly for it to drop

You might be right, the last thing I want to do is get my hopes up, but its just that. Why would they tease fans and get our hopes up just to crush them? I just think there are way too many "coincidences"

(not saying I would be crushed if a solo Cole project is dropping, but after he mentions kendrick and their collab in the same sentence he hypes us up to "his" album, yeah kinda..)

I think it would have been better as the 1st track tbh. He's always used the intros to kind of summarize what he's been up to leading up to that album.

Both did a better job than each other on the originals imo. U want to listen to Cole's version more than the original cos of the flow and melody. U want to hear Kendrick's version more than Cole's original also

Out of all the material he's released since NWTS, I think 0-100, Jungle, 6pm in New York (last song), and 30 for 30 freestyle (intro) all should of been on VFT6

At the very least 0-100 should have been on IYRTITL. Shame some of his best songs aren't on any particular project. Jungle & 30 for 30 would be perfect for Views. I really think Drake is gonna give us his masterpiece with this one.

Thank you fam, that hometown support Yea, it is kinda repetative sometimes cause I want to give artists freedom to do their stuff and later I basically add other thing to the beat if necessary when we have the idea what they want. Sometimes if I add a breakdown or another melody it puts beat "in the box" and I don't want that. But f---, this means a lot, gonna bring that championship home

Thanks bro. I been doing this seriously since late 2011, but this year I progressed by far the most. But it still feels to me like I ain't even anywhere near my ceiling.
