    Ye u never really got in to the album. I went back and forth on if it's great or not. Lyrically, what he was tryna say on that album is next level and he deserves some form of recognition just for writing that s--- lol

    I found it corny honestly, even if it touched a number of people. But then so does Cole, on a more personal level rather than a societal one.

    I honestly feel like the music on FHD is more enjoyable than TPAB. I'm not saying Cole has the better album because that's a very loaded and messy conversation that I don't feel strongly enough about to get in to, but I know which of the two I would rather listen to right now.

    FHD wins 9.5 out of 10 times to me.

    Well, ROTD2 is 1-for-1 thus far. Night Job is dope. I'm not expecting it to be AOTY or anything. Just something easy and enjoyable to bump in the meantime till we get Cole's next project

    Lol. Just say it bro. There's nothing wrong with thinking FHD a better album. It's theme and the point is trying to get across is more potent while TPAB is too dense and convoluted for its own good. Still a dope album because Kendrick can't make subpar material but FHD is easily the more enjoyable experience.

    The thing is I haven't given TPAB a fair listen in soooo long that for me to say it would be going more off of emotion than deliberation.

    It's unfair for me to flat out say it. :idk: But I echo your thoughts in that it is way too dense.
