    Wow this article is so on point. But to me instead of this being a reason to write off the album, its more of a reason to still try just because it will be dope challenge to merge their different approaches, and push both artists to create something different together than they could without each other.

    a collab project might actually bring out the best in each other tbh. have cole focus his writing more, have Kendrick revert back to his more technically impressive rapping etc

    Collab ain't coming anytime soon anyway. We are getting a Cole project and even though I don't like the way he teased the collab thats absolutely fine with me.

    I agree with the article cause I haven't seen Cole doing something far from his comfort zone yet. And with everyone expecting Cole to be Cole on the collab album, I think even he wouldn't try anything new :idk:

    Anyway, dude who wrote this actually made an appearance on last DEHH convo

    Yep. I think collab is still planned but I don't think they've really locked in and Cole has been working and said he was gonna drop on the Black Friday track so I'm expecting something from him for sure.

    Buckets in here talkin nonsense smh. Kendrick would bring the best outta cole cause I can guarantee there will be no Adam levine, trombone bars on a song with Kenny. Also, if cole produces hiiipower quality s--- it'll bring the best outta Kendrick as well. Their collabs have all been 9/10 with the exception of forbidden fruit. And even that wasn't really a collab, Cole needed a last minute favor from Kendrick. Temptations, shock the world, hiiipower, jig is up are all flames.

    Can we stop the collab talk please lol. Cole said outright on Black Friday no collab and HE will drop something in February. So I don't want L's thrown his way when this happens next month loool. Now IB, he deserves the L's. I know he lurking :yunggang:

    The collab album not comin would be the reinstatement of the Cole Ls. I'm pretty sure he knew the hype he would create when he did that February hint. :SADWAYNE:
