It is fam, Future is a beast, no pun.

I love Future because he's good at exposing personal strife, even if it is exaggerated or fabricated. Listen to Throwaway. It starts off with Future meeting a girl in the club, looking for nothing deeper than whatever the moment gives them (I want no relations, I just want your facial) and then at the half way mark, the entire song changes in to a heartbroken ballad. The first half and second half are two completely different chapters on the same song, it's crazy.

I guess he was right in being scared then :idk: if not, we wouldn't have one of the best albums of this decade.

    6) J. Cole—2014 Forest Hills Drive: J. Cole is this week's biggest jump, moving from 31 to 16. It's possible his recent HBO documentary has something to do with it. He moves 21,395 units (8,339 excluding streams), which makes his total 1,107,000 so far. He's now closed the gap on Drake's total sales to under 50,000 copies.

Thanks to Apple Music Future has grown on me immensely. He's got a well balanced catalogue. He can dive into serious and heartfelt topics where I can relate. And he can deliver top quality bangers that make you feel good

I still can't fully co-sign Young Thug though. I can only still take him in small doses

Now that you said this, I'm gonna take a break from Thelonious Monk and give future a shot to win me over.

His voice and style may take multiple listens to get used to. But he's got depth and layers to his music. I know some ppl think he's just a "mumble rapper with no substance" but there's more to him than that for sure

Ye, once I got used to his voice, it's like I discovered a new world. He actually uses his voice to project his emotions. That's why I like March Madness so much. idk how to explain it, but that's the only song where if I'm rapping simultaneously with the rapper and I mess up, it doesn't feel like I did. It's like I'm so lost in life that I'm supposed to make mistakes. Like I said, I'm not that good a writer so I can't explain it well. :jordan:

I still can't get into young thug that much tho, but I get the appeal. He has a unique flow and he rides the beat very well. Good Times's my s--- tho

Glad some of yall getting into future and that whole type of vibe. Idk why hip hop heads still hate on future so much and say he's terrible. Dude is actually a great rapper in the most traditional sense, he just happens to be doing something different and I think it's dope. News or sumn is that s---, really shows future's range. I think thug is a great rapper too, but I get how he's harder to get into outside a few songs. His voice is more unorthodox and his lyrics are so out there.

    Love both of them tho

I used to hate Future mainly because of his voice, that's going to take longest to get used to. Once you get passed that, you'll like his music. His music and style is very creative. It's almost like he makes blues music, many of his songs have raw emotions and good melodies but over trap beats. Listen to "My Savages" that's a pretty good song.
