Homie, you've gotta understand that Kanye's music is a d--- gift to hip hop for the past 10 years. Like Mike Tyson is saying, Ye basically birthed all these new rappers. And that's not an exaggeration, its a fact. Even though I wasn't a fan of Yeezus for the longest time, I see the influence that that album has had and will continue to have in subtle forms. Even though I don't mess with some of the songs, I respect it 100%. I have faith in Ye for this album, and I'm excited and ready to hear what the new sound and new "wave" is (no pun intended).

I think @2014 Forever Lives JCN understands and appreciates Ye's greatness. He's just saying his personality becomes all the more unbearable when the music is not up to the standard Ye set for himself.

oh yeah i saw that already actually, s----s funny as h--- hahaha, especially since its chappelle telling the story

but thats what I'm saying when you're on the come up and you're proving people wrong that ego is great, even when you're on top that ego is great, but at this point i think the majority of human beings share the opinion that kanye has got to learn how to chill sometimes

we all knew he was one of the greatest like 5 years ago we don't have to hear him say it all the time

and tweets like this where he just says it so nonchalantly like it means nothing are just so disrespectful to greats like Michael Jackson



i actually didn't mind him saying "waves" was not album of the year but album of the time because it was legit funny and got me hyped for the album but now I'm just beginning to wonder if its just more of kanye being kanye and not actually close to being true at all

Hmm I guess it's all subjective then. I personally love Ye's random and out of the blue personality. In my eyes, the guy is just living his life to the fullest and in love with his creativity/talents and has incredible confidence in them...while backing it up. Nothing I can hate about that.

well yes actually to me he is wrong, like i said i don't think he is the absolute greatest of all time by any means ... absolutely one of the greats but not the undeniable greatest who has ever made music

if he was still making music up to the standards of his pre-yeezus albums and he had dropped two more great albums like that then maybe i wouldn't have minded it, but with his music not living up to those standards lately then him calling himself the best to ever make music is just disrespectful to me

if Waves lives up to these huge declarations then i will eat my words but for now kanye is off the deep end to me
