    nah caught him at an event in the city where he was speaking. very relatable guy, he just graduated this year. had the chance to speak to him and his manager after. hoping he continues to excel.

    Yeah Summer Sixteen grew on me a little though. Drake s--- is just too infectious. Still hoping for better on Views though.

    It was a pretty decent song with some actually somewhat clever flips on drake lines. But thats not even whats special about it, it's the fact that he strategically dropped it 15 mins after drake dropped his new single.
    This was supposed to be a big deal for drake and create buzz for views and instead meek turned it into just meek vs drake again. First smart thing meek did in this beef.

    really? i thought that was actually another stupid meek move lol ... it got 100% overshadowed at first cause people didn't even realize meek dropped a song ... imo if he tweeted that night that he has something and then dropped the song the next day it really would have made some noise

    It definitely didnt get 100% overshadowed. I mean yeah drake is a way bigger artist and this was the single for the project he's been hyping for ever, so of course his song is gonna get attention. But go back and look at all the tweets the day they dropped. Its all war pain vs summer sixteen with a good percentage saying meek dropped the better track. There was also headlines on all the rap blogs about who leaked the song to meek. Meek turned drakes moment into a drake vs meek moment even tho obviously war pain aint gonna be getting radio spins like that
