    Also what made Rihanna's rollout so bad wasn't even that accidental release. I don't even think that hurt that much in the long run. What killed the hype was the stupid Samsung Anti diary game that everyone was tired of.

    Nah it won't hurt either of them. It just sucks that no collab album is coming yet. When they decide to drop it the hype will always be there.

    Tidal is new... Apple has had years to get that s--- right.

    Bro how is that the reason it's not out? Like what's your source on that besides intuition?

    The TIDAL stream was trash, the only way to play it was a the lowest quality available, and that's IF you were able to play it. For a lot of people, the stream just didn't flat out work.

    Aside from the technical difficulties, the audio of the stream was absolute trash. We're watching the stream to hear the album, why wouldn't audio be prioritized?

    I'm not blaming anything on TIDAL that isn't their fault b.

    Apple Music started after TIDAL. The iTunes Store has nothing to do with their streaming service.

    Right, but Apple has been dealing with music for a while. Same company, different department....

    I mean, I would blame most of this on Ye. He has control of everything, I think this is the attempt to limit leaks.

    Was Beyonce's last album put out on Tidal? Anyone know?

    @Mike Tyson apple music not streaming video tho right? Basically the only choice was tidal or YouTube. YouTube would've been much better tho

    It's not even limited to the bandwidth issues, which they had metrics on to have the proper infrastructure in place as this is not the first event that they've streamed.

    The audio source issues is what bothered me most.

    So basically, the audio was coming from the arena instead of directly from the stream? It's possible to change that?

    Yup, you feed it directly from the source and switch to the mics when he stops to talk.

    I agree that Tidal has dropped the ball on a few things. But all the posts calling it TidaL and all the hate literally from Day 1 is the reason I'm bringing this up. Did Tidal mess up with the streaming, yes. According to what you've said, I believe those are major problems. The execution could have been better yes. But the idea was not bad at all it was good. It was creative. They've also been creative with streaming live concerts, sports events, exclusive tv shows etc. So my point is they aren't a failure of a company but they can improve. They don't have to be apple to be a decent company. What is for sure is that I don't believe Kanye would have much problem releasing his album on iTunes if he really wanted it to drop. There is no reason it shouldn't be streaming on Tidal right now. I believe Kanye has enough clout to make it happen just like Rihanna was able to.

    thats those people's fault tbh, cole nor kendrick aint confirmed nothing, aint even spoke on it, cole literally said it was never dropping. they just believe everything they rea on the net, which is crazzy tbh

    and really it's kendrick's lil sister fault if anything lol

    I like Apple and I own all Apple products but I'm not gonna act like they haven't disappointed either from time to time.
    My Macbook didn't even last two years without major problems, my iPhone battery is way trashed than advertised, my iPhone charger didn't work after year (and many people had the same problem), they haven't done anything game changing in the last few years and they are an extremely successful company thats been around for decades.

    Tidal hasn't even been out for a year people need to give it time then decide.

    People also thought Born Sinner was coming January 28th after that trailer and he never said it wasn't dropping anymore and it didn't hurt Born Sinner hype or sales at all. My point is even though people think its dropping in February they won't not buy it if it drops later.
