    Him calling himself a genius doesn't determine if he's a genius or not. It just says something about his personality. Also, don't play yourselves, Kanye is a definite genius. And I think only an arrogant and skillful person like him would and could attempt to influence and change the genre like he has. I mean from cd, lr, grad, 808s,,MBDTF, and yeezus. The growth is unreal. Yes, Cole may be humble, but isn't that one of his problems? He wasn't confident enough in FNL to push it as an album despite the label, and he did not try to switch things up in FHD no matter how good it is. Same with Kenny. He was confident enough in himself to go left field with tpab, but just isn't as good as Kanye. It resulted in convoluted concept album.
    What I'm saying is that I'm okay with Kanye being arrogant if it results in him pushing the genre forward. Now, if he causes all this commotion, and he doesn't give us a classic album, f--- Him then.

    Ye, that's why I'm starting to get worried. Dude has not been his usual confident self in this whole process. He's been too shaky. Ye, if he's going to call Taylor a b----, just admit it and move on. Kanye usually doesn't need to explain himself because the music always does his work for him. Like how he released MBDTF and its like he was forgiven for the incident. This is just too weird for him.

    My problem is isn't even with the b---- word. I personally don't like calling women that in general but him and Jay have a song called That's My b----, so for them the word has never been a big deal and in hip hop in general.

    My problem is that this guy really thinks he made Taylor Swift famous. He's beyond delusional. It would be one thing if he said "I boosted her career" with the VMA incident which would be debatable but I would definitely agree with too an extent, but to say he made her famous is dumb and factually wrong. Her sophomore album Fearless was released in 2008 sold 594,000 copies first week and went 7x platinum with mutliple hit singles. The VMA incident happened in 2009.
