    Am I the only one that's glad FNL didn't drop as an album? Dude has a perfect track record of number 1 albums because of it and has a classic mixtape to his name

    I count the warm up as a classic mixtape, But now Cole would also have a classic album to his name. And I'm really sure FNL would have gone platinum and also have hit singles like Blow up and Higher. So many things would be better for Cole right now if FNL was an album.

    So on Wednesday I listened to all of Kanye's 6 albums in a row instead of studying for my tests in preparation for TLOP. Today, I listened to 808s and Heartbreak two times in a row and then Yeezus. Now, I'm finishing off mbdtf. If Kanye doesn't release this album real soon, I'm going to flip out so much.

    Fair enough- agree about the Warm Up and I'm definitely going off the assumption that Cole will have at least one classic album in the next couple of years (the last two were to me for different reasons but I get that other people don't feel the same). Still, it's always dope saying he only has number 1 albums without having any massive hit records.

    Classic albums are how people judge how an artist contributed to the genre. You can't be top 20 if you didn't push or further the genre somehow. :idk:

    I don't really care that it wasn't a album, Idk why people so obsessed with that including Cole and ib

    Its really not a big deal, if it would've been the album, it probably wouldn't sound like we know it as, cause of samples and s---.

    Because Cole would have one of the best albums of this decade. It would have easily competed with GKMC

    It doesn't really flow well like an album like FHD and GKMC tho. I can also notice the difference in mixing/ mastering.
