    I'm not taking shots man I'm just saying I could have told you before this album released that fans would be proclaiming it's the best thing they've ever heard because that's what Ye fans always do. They did the same for Yeezus. Yeezus had multiple 4 and a half - 5 star reviews 12 hours after its release. I was also saying artists opinions on how good the music is is cool but I take it with a grain of salt because a lot of the times I personally disagree.

    idk, I was talking to @Poohdini though, and theres shades of Drake on FML, Real Friends, and 30 Hours.

    Real Friends has Boi1da contributions though so that makes sense.

    Alright man, all good. It's all love and opinions anyways.

    No hard feelings, I'm not mad at anyone for the type of music they enjoy because like @KLD3816 always says, and Jay Z before him, "what you eat don't make me s---".

    Btw this album won't be a critical darling, I predict a 7/10 on pitchfork.

    i feel like comparing TLOP what we got to TLOP og (from the sounds of what hasman n the people who heard it are saying) is very much like comparing CW:TSS one that came out to the one with night rider, too much, not too late and all these songs that were said to be the best on the album but for some reason got cut ... and now we still don't have these songs

    like it just doesn't make sense why do artists do these listening sessions if they just end up cutting the best songs lol

    True, and that'll always be a regret for all of us.

    Jay Z and Rocnation ruined the original CW:TSS, and I feel like Born Sinner was overcompensating for that.

    FHD is what the debut should have sounded like, it's too bad for Cole that dude really was a guinea pig for the industry.

    Can't wait till Cole's next LP. I predict quite a bit of outside production (maybe some reggae influence) with more poetic/metaphorical bars

    Also the original title for the debut was "Tales From The Sidelines" (via @Cruz)

    He changed it to Cole World: The Sideline Story because Jay Z told him he had to put Cole World in the title.

    it seems like artists overthink things when they take too long to release an album ... thats how it was with CW:TSS seeing as it cud have release anytime a year before FNL until the time it actually did drop, kanye with this album it was supposed to release like a year ago but who knows what happened, chance with his GOAT song paradise that he ruined by sitting on it too long and then changing it

    then u look at albums like 2014 FHD, if you're reading this its too late ... that come out before u even know they exist and they just seem concise precise and perfect :khaled:

    btw the biggest crime with fade for me is post maline's part being so short, thats like the best part of the song but it lasts like 20 seconds before getting cut off, he shuda went on for like 2 minutes, is his part longer in ur version ?

    Drake is my favourite rapper but I don't like IYRT lmao.

    But the debut album from Drake, Thank Me Later, is the exact same as what you're saying with albums getting messed up with indecisions.

    Nah it's the same vocal wise, but the production is beefed up. The new Fade is better I think, but I'm not listening to the OG waves again for at least a month. I just want to enjoy this TLOP album for what Kanye gave it to us as.

    Word. He'd be great at doing music on Broadway and scores for films. He's got a gift for orchestrating music. He could follow in the footsteps of Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails.

    I think this is Kanye's last rap album. He's going to focus on the clothing line for a few years now, and probably come back at 42 or 43 and drop a musical or something like Jamie xx does.

    This album is almost one, but he does pause to rap every now and then.
