    Like i said, I havent had time to thoroughly ingest tlop so no comment on that, but based on his past work i stand by what i said. Ive never really felt that those lines that people consider subpar take away from the objective of the song

    This is where I'm in unfamiliar territory when debating all things musically. I'm ignorant to all those terms in how they're related to MUSIC. "Song structure, arrangement, etc.)" means zilch to me (not to s--- on you guys are anything). I thinks it cool to understand music on more than a superficial basis..I just don't care to. I respect Ye as a musician. Production wise, he's eons better than cole but not as a writer. Just my two pennies.

    Yeah to be honest, I'm probably just using big words on simple concepts.

    But you know how like on Famous, it starts with Rihanna covering a Nina Simone song, and then it goes in to a whole new mood when Swizz Beatz starts ad-libbing and Kanye starts rapping, and then it switches back to something more somber until Swizz Beatz takes over and plays the Bam Bam outro?

    Stuff like that is what I meant, Kanye is great because he can juxtapose sounds and make it sound natural. It's more than just being a producer, so I called it "directing". Really, I'm just throwing around fancy titles because I feel like the conventional titles don't really work for Kanye.

    The arrangement of G.O.M.D. is dope and he's the only credited producer. Plus he's got A1 melodies and hot bars on that track. It's definitely his most entertaining song and it sounds effortless coming from him. Not forced or anything. He has it in him to push his production to another level. I think he'll take more steps in that direction in the future.

    It's crazy how FHD is out selling other rap album that came out after it. I never thought Cole would go platinum with just sales in the 1st place.
